Meet the Team
Meet our Founder
Stacy Marie Ronquillo, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, IFMCP, ABAAHP, is the founder of Remedy MEDucation™ and a double board-certified Nurse Practitioner with nearly two decades of experience primarily in Emergency Medicine.
She is also the founder and clinical director of Remedy Functional Medicine Clinic based in Portland, Oregon, where she specializes in metabolic health, hormone optimization, and gut health for peri/menopausal women. Through this work, she discovered her deep passion for teaching and mentoring fellow clinicians. That passion inspired her to establish Remedy MEDucation™, an educational platform dedicated to bridging the gap between conventional and functional medicine by providing practical, evidence-based tools for clinicians.
In addition to her clinical and educational leadership, Stacy serves as faculty at the Academy of Functional Nutrition & Lifestyle Medicine (AFNLM) program, where she contributes to educating the general public.
Remedy MEDucation™ reflects her commitment to empowering clinicians with knowledge, confidence, and mentorship so they can provide comprehensive, integrative care that improves patient outcomes.

Ollie
Chief Security Officer & Snack Strategist
Oliver pulls double duty as part of both Remedy Functional Medicine Clinic and Remedy MEDucation™. By day, he’s our Chief Security Officer, alerting the team to every delivery truck, squirrel, and suspicious leaf that blows by. By night (and sometimes mid-nap), he moonlights as our official Snack Strategist, making sure no crumb goes unaccounted for.
At the clinic, Oliver ensures patients feel welcome with his tail wags and warm presence. At MEDucation, he keeps Stacy company while she builds courses and mentors clinicians, occasionally offering input in the form of a well-timed bark.
When he’s off duty, Oliver enjoys long walks, cozy naps, and supervising his humans to make sure they never take themselves too seriously.
Whether at the clinic or behind the scenes of MEDucation, Oliver proves that every great team needs a little canine wisdom.
